Where to start when you have no idea where to start
You know that wild dream of yours, that thing you have always wanted to do, that feeling that just won’t go away that you desperately want to to explore? Girl, you know what I am talking about. That thing that over the years keeps popping up as a reminder that you still want it, your mind may have pushed it to the back of your priorities but your soul is quietly nudging you saying ‘I haven’t forgotten & I’m not going to let you forget either’. You know that thing, you’ve decided to go for it, the next obstacle, where do you start?
What does the word happiness even mean?
Well it seems the goal posts have moved and this often confusing journey of looking for happiness is proving to have been a misguided message all along. We were first led to believe that happiness is a place, that we when achieve success (society’s version that is) we will be happy, we will be living the dream. We are now living in enormous amounts of debt from our shiny new cars, oversized houses, full of material possessions we bought on credit that we don’t actually need or have time to enjoy because we are working overtime in our full time jobs (that don’t make us happy and certainly aren’t our passion) just to make ends meet. Rant over, you get the point, society’s way isn’t going to make us happy and I am excited to say the world is waking up to these marketing tricks.
The Power of Self-Love
What would the world look like if we all practiced self-love daily? Would our worlds & the greater world be a better place? Could giving ourselves more love everyday attract more love, happiness and abundance into our lives? Of course, more self-love would fuel our lives to be everything we want, the greater world would be blessed with a loved up society and the love, happiness and abundance would flow with ease. We know the power of self-love, but why do we struggle to practice it daily?

Confidence letter to my younger self
Dear younger Cas,
If only you knew everything I know now. Trust me when I say take your time, live in the moment, enjoy the journey, everything will work out exactly how it is meant to.
I am not perfect, I am a limited edition
I fall, I rise
I make mistakes, I learn
I upset, I apologise
I challenge myself, I live
I’m not perfect, I am human
I am a limited edition
I mean really being perfect would be boring right? #soboring. How cool is it that we can continue to grow and transform ourselves to be who ever we want to be? That we can choose to rise after we fall, to learn from our mistakes, to apologise when we unwillingly upset, to challenge ourselves, to live. Seriously, how cool is that!

An introverts perspective on confidence…
Being an introvert I always thought I would never be as confident as an extrovert must feel, they are expressive, loud, social, think as they speak. I thought to myself, they must be confident right? Being an introvert I am quiet, reflective, enjoy my solitude and think before I speak which means sometimes I miss my chance to be expressive in social situations, but does that mean I am any less confident then the extrovert?
Creative ways to grow into your best self
Growth starts when you make the decision that you want more, can be more and deserve more in and from your life. Cynthia Occeilli writes about growth “For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. Do you truly understand the power of growth?

Self-love starts in the gut & impacts your confidence
We have all heard the saying ‘Trust your gut, it knows what your head doesn’t know yet’, but have you heard the saying ‘From the gut comes the strut’? How can we expect to feel confident if our bodies are feeling sluggish, tired, bloated or uncomfortable in our clothes? I learnt this lesson 2 and half years ago, self-love starts with what we put in our mouths and how we treat our bodies.
