How to celebrate the little things
The little things? The little moments?- They aren’t that little.
Do you know your values intimately?
Could you tell me your top five values if I asked you right now? Could you express them like they are so intimately part of you? Like every important decision you make you think of them first? If I asked you right now what your top 5 values are the chances are you wouldn’t be able to answer without some thought and that’s normal. Now what if I told you knowing your values intimately would change the way you lived on a daily basis?
Confidence lessons from Bali
Have you ever found confidence when you were least expecting it? Something was calling me to Bali, I put yoga in Bali on my vision board for this year but I had no idea how I was going to get there or even when I would find the time. Bali kept calling me and I am so grateful I listened to her because what I learnt about myself raised my confidence levels more then I ever thought possible.
Choosing your tribe: Quality vs. Quantity
Quality over quantity, we have all heard it many times, but how often do we hear it about our friends? Growing up we were taught to be popular you had to have lots of friends, right? It didn’t matter how you treated them or how they treated you in return. What mattered was quantity over quality. Now I ask you (all grown up) have you got yourself a tribe or are you still striving to be the popular one? (more…)
You wake up late (pressed snooze a few to many times), check your Facebook and Instagram, pins some pictures on Pinterest and before you know, the morning has flown by and yep your running late again. Does this sound familiar?
How to be a change maker!
There is nothing that excites my soul more then dreaming big, thinking outside the box, standing proud and bold as I scream to the world that life is for living. Those dreams you have go out and chase them, they are yours if you are brave enough to chase them. Are you a change maker or have you got some long lost dreams?
Despite how good of a person we are disharmony and conflict are inevitable. We have all heard the saying we can’t like everyone we meet, but we do have a choice how we react to them and how much we let disharmony and conflict effect us. Me personally I avoid conflict, but even so I have had my fair share of conflicts find there way into my life. Like I said they are unfortunately inevitable, however a good lesson in self awareness. As I have grown up I have come to realise that disharmony and conflict are really just giving me a choice…How am I going to react to this situation?
