The Power of Self-Love
What would the world look like if we all practiced self-love daily? Would our worlds & the greater world be a better place? Could giving ourselves more love everyday attract more love, happiness and abundance into our lives? Of course, more self-love would fuel our lives to be everything we want, the greater world would be blessed with a loved up society and the love, happiness and abundance would flow with ease. We know the power of self-love, but why do we struggle to practice it daily?

Confidence letter to my younger self
Dear younger Cas,
If only you knew everything I know now. Trust me when I say take your time, live in the moment, enjoy the journey, everything will work out exactly how it is meant to.
I am not perfect, I am a limited edition
I fall, I rise
I make mistakes, I learn
I upset, I apologise
I challenge myself, I live
I’m not perfect, I am human
I am a limited edition
I mean really being perfect would be boring right? #soboring. How cool is it that we can continue to grow and transform ourselves to be who ever we want to be? That we can choose to rise after we fall, to learn from our mistakes, to apologise when we unwillingly upset, to challenge ourselves, to live. Seriously, how cool is that!
Self care isn’t selfish
Have you ever craved for more ‘me time’ but feel guilty? Time and money stops you in your tracks and you convince yourself your time is better spent elsewhere. Deep down we know caring for ourselves will benefit those around us but we feel selfish and guilty for doing something self-caring. Am I right ladies?

The key to confidence in your relationship
Do you openly share your deepest feelings, greatest desires and your biggest fears with your intimate partner? Do you give yourself permission to speak up as the beautiful unique individual soul you are? Do you focus on the positives about your relationship and your partner? Or are you like me and have made a commitment to yourself and your future partner to make it the ultimate relationship, the one you have always dreamed of?
There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me that is the true essence of beauty- Steve Maraboli. Steve is on the money, I mean really is there any other way to live? Why do we think we need to be someone else or show up to the world not as our true selves? Am I the only one that is saying enough is enough…here I am world?
Women Inspiring Confidence Presents Em @ The Gratitude Butterfly
I am over the moon today to introduce you to my gorgeous friend, wellness inspiration and GratiDude Em Fitts – the creator and owner of The Gratitude Butterfly. Em has stopped by today to share with you her confidence journey and I am so grateful for her honesty, wisdom, authenticity and love.
An introverts perspective on confidence…
Being an introvert I always thought I would never be as confident as an extrovert must feel, they are expressive, loud, social, think as they speak. I thought to myself, they must be confident right? Being an introvert I am quiet, reflective, enjoy my solitude and think before I speak which means sometimes I miss my chance to be expressive in social situations, but does that mean I am any less confident then the extrovert?
Hands up if you agree that this is the best hashtag ever? Hands up if you believe self worth is sexy? Hands up if you are willing to shout it from the rooftops all over social media with me? I can see all your hands raised, jumping in the air, typing away singing #selfworthissexy. But why are we really trying to spread this message?
Why do you see the beauty and I see the blemishes?
Why is it when we look at other women we see what we physically think is beautiful first? We see they have perfect hair, the perfect body, they have a nice smile, perfect skin, that natural glow we dream of, great fashion ect. What is the first thing you notice about yourself when you catch your reflection?
When life is hard take a smaller bite
Recently when I expressed to a colleague that life was throwing a few huge (I am talking life changing huge) obstacles my way, he reminded me of the saying that goes something like this ‘When life is hard take a smaller bite’. This made sense at the time and then the more I thought about it I found myself asking the same question repeatedly, how does one actually take a smaller bite at life?
When was the last time you popped those feet up and relaxed? I mean completely relaxed? I’m guessing it’s been a while, but don’t worry your not the only one. As women (& some men too, but today is about the ladies) we are always busy running around making sure everyone else around us has everything they need that we forget to do the same for ourselves. Honesty time: Does this sound like you?
I am bursting with excitement to share my evening with Oprah, yep you heard right..Oprah!! I am still pinching myself, although to be honest I am not quite sure why. I knew I was going to see Oprah one day, it wasn’t really an option I just knew from the time I used to watch her TV shows back in my early teens that it was inevitable. I had even researched how to apply to be in the audience of her show in the US, the wait list was over a couple of years long and that plan was soon forgotten. Until I saw Oprah was coming to Brisbane!
