Have you ever had that feeling when you know something is right but you just can’t explain it? Well that’s the feeling I have right now as I write my final blog post for Best Life Wise. I did consider just sneaking out the back door, slipping out without a word, closing the door on this adventure as quietly as I could but what fun would that be? And besides if you really want closure, you have to be willing to close the door.
The last four years have been a wild ride. I am pinching myself as I think back to the girl I was when I created Best Life Wise, when this whole crazy growth journey started. Part of me likes to think I wouldn’t recognise her anymore, the other part of me knew her too well to forget.
For those who have been here from the start you will know Best Life Wise started as a voice to share my passion for nutritional cleansing (a program I still love to this day), she then expanded as my knowledge and skills did to provide wellness coaching to facilitate health and lifestyle changes. The more clients I coached the message became clearer, we all know what changes we want to make in life, the people we want to be and the lives we want to live but one thing always stood in the way, confidence. Having confidence to me was just a part of the picture, well a triangle really, the self-love, confidence and courage trifecta.
Without self-love we won’t have the courage to do what we need to do to gain the confidence we need to make the changes we want in our lives. The confidence to be who we want to be. Who we are meant to be.
I couldn’t really smoke bomb out of here without saying the biggest and deepest thank you for the support, feedback, following and love over the past four years. Best Life Wise has been the biggest part of my life for these years, we have had triumphs and successes, tears, arguments and failures but sitting here as I thump on the keyboard I couldn’t be more grateful and proud of it all.
So where to now I hear you asking, it’s time for me now to practice what I preach. To pour love and energy inwards. It’s time to give back to me, to overfill my cup, because through this adventure (BLW, travel, illness) I realised I was preaching more then I was doing. Hey they do say it’s easier said then done!
If you are looking for me I will be somewhere between working as a mental health nurse, spending my days at the beach in the sunshine, reading crime novels, flipping through house design magazines, sipping on vegan smoothies or pottering around home in my veggie garden with my chickens.
With so much love and gratitude,
